I have read that siberian eleuthero (eleutherococcus senticosus) can help with stress levels. i am taking atenolol 6.25 mg in the morning and night for blood pressure and high resting pulse. could i take the eleuthero in the afternoon between doses?

Siberian Eleuthero: Google shows the following.
Eleuthero is often called an "adaptogen." This is a non-medical term used to describe compounds that might improve resistance to stress. But there is no good evidence showing that eleuthero has adaptogen-like effects.
I advise against taking all supplements as there is not control of what goes into them.You may get such goodies as viagra, mercury, arsenic, testosterone
