A member asked:

Diagnosed with brachial plexus-doctor said 12 months no work. forced back to work after only 3 months. had set back in injury. still suffering pain- is it permanent and if so is it grounds for disability??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Complex issues: FIRST, what kind of plexus injury? And how severe, and did it cause weakness? SECOND, does it get worse if arm elevated or down? THIRD, was EMG study done? FOURTH, was physical therapy tried, and was a TOS protocol employed? FIFTH, I would have no clue as to permanence or disability based on information provided. SIXTH, maybe best bet is a CONCIERGE appt. here on HT?
