Covid positive tests: Both your wife and you should be on quarantine for 14-16 days. If symptoms include shortness of breath or respiratory problems, evaluation in an ED may be necessary, with hospitalization if symptoms worsen.

COVID 19: Average incubation period for COVID-19 is 2 to14 days (but as little as 1 day), median time is 4-5 days. You may have tested too early to accurately obtain a positive result. Retesting may help to determine if your symptoms are due to COVID 19.
