Doubtful: Spotting or bleeding always needs to be evaluated when pregnant. When not pregnant, this should also be seen and evaluated. Often this can be a sign of thyroid problems, uterine fibroids, or even things like cervical polyps or infection. See your doctor and get a work-up.

Yes: It is unlikely if you have done a home test but there are other causes for abnormal bleeding so i would go to the doctor for evaluation. Hope this helps.
