Determine the cause: Once the cause of an earache is determined, treatment can be rendered. Infection? Possibly. A local physician can examine you and provide the appropriate care.

Depends: Application of moist heat to the side of the head can offer some pain relief as will ibuprofen. If/when it bothers you enough contact your doc & arrange an assessment. This is a public information site manned by volunteers. We do not offer scripts/notes/referrals or other direct care.
