A member asked:

What options are there for a male in early 60s with the start of beer belly (protruding belly) not caused by over eating and does not drink beer 5 11. 155 lbs, is there a way back to a flat stomach?

A couple items: Doubt that medications or dietary measures will succeed. Many "beer bellies" correlate with weak hip flexors, and in some cases, postural anomalies contribute. Suggestion is to find either an exercise physiologist or PhD level physical therapist and get into a stabilizing program. An excellent approach is RED CORD (active-COR) device imported from Norway, but therapist needs a lot of training.
