Migraine: You provide an excellent description of a visual aura followed by a hemicranial headache. You likely do possess "classical migraine", and your headache will likely last several hours only. If this becomes a frequent pattern, medication to prevent this is available. Sleep does help alleviate. Best to avoid smoking and female hormones. Hope you recover soon.
