Endometrial bx ?'s: After menopause, an endometrial biopsy might cause more than just "spotting", as the endometrium may be thicker than usual secondary to sustained estrogen production by the ovaries, but in that case, true menopause would not have occurred. Ask your gyn physician about a lab test for FSH and serum Estradiol to explain the "period like bleeding".
