31 y/o with muscle twitching in my left glute for the past 5 days, no change in medicine. did have covid 4 weeks ago. what could be the cause? i am worried about als?

Muscle Twitching: Muscle twitching is caused by minor muscle contractions in the area. Causes include lack of nutrients in the diet, medication side effects, lack of sleep, too much caffeine/exercise/stress, medical conditions that cause metabolic disorders, including low potassium, kidney disease, and uremia.
