Long "period" ?'s: A true "menstrual event" occurs usually 14 days after ovulation. Bleeding for "14 days" indicates other causes (polyps, fibroids. pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) ). If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy. See your gyn physician for an exam to confirm the diagnosis. Low dose bcp's may be an alternative.
