A member asked:

Hi what is the difference between twitches and spasms? or are they the same thing? also is it common to get little pain with twitches and is tingling associated with either? thank you!!?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vernacular: Neither term is "traditional medical", but spasm would imply a muscular cramp or strain, and twitch would mean a sudden jerking motion secondary to a sudden muscle contraction. Pain and tingling could be secondary. Not sure if you are experiencing issues with any of the above. You may have further concerns which we could address via Concierge appt. if necessary.
