Common: Irregular periods/spotting post abortion is very common. It reflects your body's efforts to recalibrate hormones back to normal levels. Normal periods typically resume between 4-6 months. You should begin using contraception immediately. If it persists, talk to your Dr about the irregular bleeding and contraception options.
