I started clarithromycin 500mg yesterday. a 5 day course of one tablet a day. i have had 2 tablets and am feeling extremely nauseous, dizzy, and sick. should i stop them even though it says complete the course?

Stop Medication.: You probably have a sensitivity, I would probably contact your PCP to see if you can obtain a different medication.

Second, you need to discuss your reactions with your doctor. Third, you may be able to handle side effects by taking after small amount of food, or adding ginger root 1 gram 2-3 times daily.
