My gf has an acid reflux problem and it causes her to vomit bad. now when she throws up, the surrounding part of her eyes turn a really dark red/blue black. similar to bruising. is this normal? she had lab tests and ct scans, but nothing found?

Gastroenterologist: The small blood vessels bursting around her eyes is a testament to severe vomiting which I feel is not a usual feature of uncomplicated GERD. I strongly recommend a consultation with a gastroenterologist for accurate diagnosis and appropriate testing, treatment and follow-up care. A gastroscopic examination, in my opinion, would shed much more !ight on her problem than a CT scan.
