Valsalva maneuver: When a person lifts heavy items forces/strains are concentrated in the abdominal area. This is recognized as tightening or "squeezing" of belly muscle groups in response to the load being lifted. Pressure's also exerted against a closed GLOTTIS in the throat (i.e. holding their BREATH) while the load's lifted. Both fluid & air pressures escalate inside the head hence PRESSURES too rise.
