Gastroenteritis: Nausea, vomiting &diarrhea usually are caused by a viral gastrointestinal tract infection or food poisoning.Associated fever favors the former. Both conditions gradually resolve after a few days. Rest up, drink plenty of room temperature fluids &flat ginger ale relieves nausea. Eat soft,bland,nongreasy foods.
