What is causing the pain at my upper thigh, in the crease, when compressed by sitting/leaning? strong, burning pain after about 30 minutes sitting upright/leaned forward. post thr by 11 months. injection no help for this but helped overall, a bit?

Depends on Diagnosis: The location and circumstance of your pain combined with a history of injection that brought temporary relief leads me to believe that someone injected your hip joint for arthritis. If this is the problem you should see an orthopedic surgeon to discuss your options. Ignoring prior treatment I would want to be sure this is not a femoral hernia or other less common problem. See your doctor soon.

? nerve: Although this could be due to hip or sacroiliac issues, or even low back problems, your description might suggest a problem with lateral femoral cutaneous nerve of thigh. Need to discuss this further with your doctors
