More info needed: You don't provide enough information for a differential diagnosis. What side is the pain in? How long has it been present? Does it radiate? Right upper abdominal discomfort occurs with gall bladder or liver disorder. Upper, midline pain occurs with gastritis,peptic ulcer, pancreatitis but associated tenderness is usually present.
