Pregnancy: Not likely. Make sure you see a doctor. However, yes there cases where the HCG level (pregnancy hormone) is elevated when you are not pregnant.

Ovarian tumor: Rare tumors of the ovary can secrete b HCG this is the hormone that rises during pregnancy which makes the pregnancy test read positive. Remeber though this is a very rare tumor!
