Explanation: The standard flu shot does NOT protect against COVID-19, but as of today, we have THREE new vaccines, for coronavirus. You should protect against flu, as potential infections could be simplified indeed in this environment. I would recommend the flu shot (dead virus, not nasal, live.)

Flu Shot: Agree with Dr. Machanic. Even if the influenza vaccine does not protect against COVID 19 - strongly recommend you get it. Flu and COVID 19 can look very similar & there could be co-infections.
