Yes: Gently rinse the eyes with saline. Avoid smoke, dust and irritants. Watch for signs of drainage, fever which are associated with an infection. Watery red eyes may be a sign of an allergic reaction. Watch for hives, itching and trouble breathing. An antihistamine is then indicated, please follow up with your pediatrician.
