What causes a wart: A wart is caused by a virus. Perhaps in folk lore a person touched a toad or frog and just happened to develop a wart. Since electron microscopes were not invented to see viruses until 1952 folk lore may been the explanation for the cause of the wart for many long years.

Not true: Warts are caused by a virus called Human Papilloma virus and it is only transmitted from one human to another. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
