Every time i stop taking loratadine for my asthma i experience difficulty breathing at night. shoul i take loratadine indefinitely?

Pulmonologist: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor, preferably a chest doctor so that s/he may evaluate and ascertain the optimum treatment. Wish you good health!

Allergy testing: Exposure to dust and other environmental triggers while you sleep, may trigger both allergic reactions and asthma. Use dust covers for mattress and pillow. Continue loratadine until evaluated by allergy testing, which can be completed by lab testing. Continue to follow your asthma action plan as prescribed.
