Hard to say: Papillomas are usually caused by viruses spread by direct contact with another person who has that virus. Your history of no contact of any kind makes it somewhat mysterious. There may be other skin lesions that look similar but are not transmitted that way. I recommend asking your GYN Dr more questions about this. The Dr may consider a biopsy of the lesion
