A member asked:

Mri there is a broad-based central disc herniation with cranial migration about 3 mm, and annular tear indenting the epidural fat?

Not surgical: It may cause pain, but if there is no neural impingement (if it is just indenting the epidural fat, which is adjacent to the thecal sac that contains the nerve), and you have no weakness/numbness in the leg (I assume this is your lumbar spine), no need to operate. Consult your physician though, as I have not seen the images your you.

Medical management : Sounds very nonsurgical and could be readily managed conservatively with PT. Would be prudent to get radiological images to assess stability
