A member asked:

Why dehydration causes sunken interior fontanelle of 10-month-old baby? whay is the relation ship between them ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basics: The anterior fontanelle reflects the blood volume flowing through major veins in the head just beneath the structure. With dehydration the fluid volume of blood is decreased and the fontanelle shows this by being sunken in when the kid sits.
