Tmp: Clearly the CT shows severely degenerated TMJ. The issue of surgery really depends on how symptomatic you are and what restrictions you have - In instances of severe pain and restriction in mouth opening surgery could certainly be of benefit. However i would try PRP/Stem Cell injections first.
