Dravet Syndrome & : Related scn1a mutations are genetic, not vaccine-induced. Fever from any cause can trigger seizures. . Genetic mutations are passed on or occur by accident when the germ cells ( egg & sperm) divide & 1/2 of the germ cell's chromosomes from each parent combine for the the genetic make-up of the child. Sodium channel: Kids born carrying this mutation are at some increased risk for seizures after immunization. If my kid had this, I would still insist they be immunized.
