Post menstrual odor : If you utilize tampons during your menstrual period, it is a common occurrence for mixed foul odor and a "reddish discharge" to result from a tampon "lost" (inadvertently not removed) in the upper vagina. This can cause vaginal infection, odor and discharge as described. See your gyn for an exam .
