Have it checked: In this day and age, I would assume nothing. Child should be checked immediately for Covid-19, as the presenting symptoms can vary greatly in children. Once that is or isn't ruled out, my next guess would be an exacerbation of the child's allergies. This time of year when leaves are falling, there are all kinds of allergens, such as molds, in the air. Her usual medication may not be enough.
