A member asked:

I have developed white dots all over. they are on my arms the most, legs , and stomach. i first saw them about 5 months ago. my peers have said they are from the sun i dont find that true because i have grown up in the sun and they went there then?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dermatologist: Unless these white spots are depigmented areas from prior skin eruptions, vitiligo, an autoimmune disorder, is a likely cause. It often is seen on elbows and knees in the beginning. I recommend seeing a dermatologist for evaluation and advice.
