Doc is centrum multivitamin pills really good for you?

Yes: Yes, it's perfectly fine, especially if you don't eat perfectly (as most of us don't!). I don't know if you're on other prescription medications, but if so, double-check with your pharmacist to make sure you can take the vitamin at the same time (some meds you want to separate out the vitamin from the medication).
