VARIES: Different advice on hair. Sometimes the more frequently you wash it the drier it can get or sometimes it tends to feel oily quicker. You do not necessarily have to wash your hair everyday unless you sweat a lot or work out and participate in sports. Maybe try every other day. Also get good shampoos that do not have a lot of sulfates to strip hair.

Wash more often: Generally, the longer between hair washes, the more oily the hair becomes. If this is your tendency (and each one is different), then wash daily. I have washed daily with Head and Shoulders (don't get paid for that), and have never had a problem with oily or flaky scalp. You have to work out the proper balance simply by trial and error, and perhaps different shampoos.
