Cord remnant: Most likely what you are feeling is a either a remnant of the cord where the testicle was removed with some inflammation from the surgery. With time it should become softer and probably become smaller. If there is no change and over time it is bothersome to you, a surgical approach via a groin incision could be used to shorten the cord.
