A member asked:

Why does the right side of my vagina (i am not sexually active nor have i ever been)hurts? and how to treat it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can examine: The "right side" of a vagina is inside the body. A teen's pediatrician or family doctor can examine to see what is going on there. No part of the vagina is outside the body. The parts outside the body are the vulva (the inner and outer labia). A patient will have to point to exactly where the pain is, because her doctor does not want to guess. Her doctor can then examine closely to see what it is.
