A member asked:

What menu is reccomended for a 65 old man who's active every morning and then rests all afternoon. what can give him more nutrients for exercising?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Balanced & healthy: By age 65, a man has his likes and dislikes. He can think of all the foods he likes, and plan to eat a little bit of each every week. It should end up pretty balanced if there is variety. He may want to drink non-fat milk and throw out most of the egg yolks to decrease animal fats (eat only lean meat). Breads, pasta, or rice should be brown or whole grain. Eat lots of veggies, and not much fruit.
