Hi dr, i stray cat scratched me, the scratch was bleeding. is there any precautions i should take?

Some basics: The scratch, like any open wound can be contaminated by germs or tetanus spores, so cleaning it well & covering it is a good first step. If you haven't had a tetanus shot in a decade or more getting one would be reasonable. Young kittens are a common source of a germ that causes "cat scratch" disease & older wild cats could be a risk of rabies. A local health agency might clarify that risk.
