IBS And Stool: It very well may be how inflamed the intestines are at the time the food is ingested and how long it takes to circumnavigate the GI system. Swollen intestines are probably not absorbing the calories as well, fluids may not be absorbed fully and the texture of the stool then appears different than other's formed stool can be.
