I am 2 years post-op for chiari malformation and also have cluster headaches. if iv pain medication is the only thing that helps, will/can i be admitted to the hospital until my pain can be controlled with oral medication?

Postop Chiari: That will depend on you, and your treatment team. The choice of pain regimen will depend on your history, prior medication history and what you and your team decide together. There may be other choices than inpatient pain management.
