Low lying cerebellum: The cerebellar lobes in the back of the brain are extending slightly into the spinal canal, which is associated with something called chiari i malformation when it's more severe. If they extend far down into the spinal canal, they can compress the spinal cord and the blood vessels feeding the "back" of the brain, as well as interrupt the flow of CSF between the brain and spinal canal.
