A member asked:

I am 38 years old and my wife is 35 years old and we are trying to conceive a baby. she has normal periods and hormone levels(amh, fsh,lh) and my sperm count is also ok. during sex my wife does not get orgasm and is that the reason for no conception?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: Female orgasm is not essential in the conception process although it does produce rhythmic smooth muscle contractions of the Fallopian tubes and uterine musculature helping sperm migration. Ovulation frequency at age 35 is a greater concern.
