Unlikely. : Many tick borne illnesses require the tick to be embedded for a while, sometimes a day or more, before illnesses are transmitted. Some don't require this much tick time, but it's still unlikely that the illness would start one day later. Far more likely you're dealing with either a stomach virus or something your child ate.
