I have severe calf pain when walking. my leg and ankle are swollen. i have hbp, high cholestoral. pain started in rt. calf, has now moved to the lt.

As a precaution I : Would recommend a duplex ultrasound to rule out a clot. I would consider the possibility of a side effect of possible cholesterol lowering medication you may be taking.

Calf pain: Could be a circulation problem like peripheral artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, intermittent caudication or dvt. In short see your doctor.
