A member asked:

On ginette 35 for more than a year now, what does the period interval mean? does it mean i am not protected then? and do i have to take it the same time every day to be protected? or would throughout the day work as long as i don't skiep?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Protected every day: As long as a woman takes her daily combination birth control pill (such as Ginette) within 3 hours of the usual time that she takes her pill each day, she will not notice any difference in the effectiveness of the pills. She is protected against pregnancy every day, regardless of where she is in the pill pack. Pregnancy is possible, but rarely happens, if pills are taken correctly this way.
