Irregular periods: Irregular bleeding at 16 is very common. It may be due to the fluctuating hormones typical in puberty which can be affected by stress, lack of sleep, weight gain/loss, exercise changes, and use of hormonal contraceptives including Plan B. Typically periods become more regular in the early 20's. If you are concerned, talk to your Dr at your next annual visit.
