Cramps: This varies. Some people suffer from Mittelschmerz discomfort. This is midcycle discomfort associated around the time of ovulation which occurs approx 2 weeks prior to your next menstruation. Some people experience cramps following Mittelschmerz and onward until period ends. There could be other reasons causing cramping such as fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, infection and so forth.
