A member asked:

Can i get hpv (as a men) if i have sex with a woman? should i get vaccinated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually, yes and yes: Since most of the population are heterosexual, most of the HPV spread is from man to woman or woman to man. So, of course we vaccinate both men and women. It saves lives of mainly women, because men don't get cervical cancer. Each person who missed getting vaccinated in their teen years (that's when we pediatricians vaccinate everyone) can ask his doctor about getting the shots.
