Urethral discharge?: This is a pretty atypical situation. Expressing discharge only with pressure suggests it's semen or prostate gland fluid. However, any male with discharge needs evaluation for STDs, in particular gonorrhea, chlamydia and nongonococcal urethritis (NGU). It's probably unrelated to your past hernia surgery. You'll need to see a doctor. Good luck.
