Vaginal douching...: ...is always unhealthy, with water or anything else. Douching is not needed for hygiene: the vagina is self-cleaning, including during and after menstruation. Douching washes out normal vaginal bacteria, leading to infections like bacterial vaginaosis. It also increases susceptibility to STDs if exposed and of pelvic infection (PID). If pregnant, increased risk of uterus infection. Don't do it.
