Can i get hepatitis or another infection by touching a public surface then scratching a rash and breaking skin causing it to bleed?

Not hepatitis but..: You cannot catch hepatitis by merely touching a "public surface" and scratching your skin unless there happened be body fluid such as blood from an infected person. It is possible to catch staph skin infection though.
